DNACA is a 501(c)3 public benefit corporation founded in 1981 to serve Crescent City, Del Norte County, and adjacent Tribal lands (the ancestral lands of the Tolowa and Yurok People), in the northernmost corner on the coast of California. We are a State-Local Partner funded in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
Our mission as a local arts agency is to provide support and excitement for all the creative arts in our County, in order to inspire community vitality and harmony.
DNACA employs one full time staff member, our Executive Director. As such, DNACA would not be able to serve our community without the help of dedicated volunteers serving on our committees and our Board of Directors.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us!
At DNACA we believe everyone
should have access to creative experiences.
We see inclusion and accessibility as critical components
in the development of the arts:
the support of artists; the nurturing
of accessible, thriving venues for expression; and
the fair distribution of programmatic, financial,
and informational resources.
There are so many ways to be involved in our arts community.
